Supportive Housing
In preparation for rezoning and development applications, StudioHuB is focusing in lot configuration, location of the building and parking access, form and façade studies. Special consideration will be given to planning appropriate construction elevations due to this project’s location in a flood plain.
The team worked and in hand with the city of Chilliwack to develop an ideal design that met the requirements of the city while working within the constraints of affordable housing. Our approach consisted of regular dialogue with the city, working through potential solutions with our contacts in the building department prior to and during the Development Permit application.
