At studioHuB architects, we believe that everyone in our studio is critical to our shared success and that each individual deserves to be treated as such. Our studio environment blurs the line between art, industrial design, and design-build. We have an active artist studio and woodshop, and our team draws from multidisciplinary backgrounds in fine arts, architecture, film, wood-working, and construction. Brand & Proposal Manager / Strategy Lead

We are looking for a passionate individual to take on the responsibility for our Branding, Proposal Writing, Social Media, Website, Award Submissions, and to assist in designing and preparing our Engagement materials. The successful candidate would:

  • Work actively on the studio Branding and Messaging (experience in content writing is strongly preferred)

  • Take a leadership role in proposal preparation, including: consultant coordination, graphics, and write ups

  • Manage and continue to build our marketing material library, including resumes, project sheets and write ups

  • Develop and renew, with assistance of an external strategy consultant, our Brand Identity, and incorporate it across all our channels

  • Develop our website and work with a web developer to incorporate website changes

  • Identify and prepare award submissions

  • Manage and prepare our social media strategy and manage our day-to-day social media presence

  • Assist our teams in designing and preparing materials for public engagement opportunities, including interactive workshops and presentations

  • Assist the partners and other team members in the development of presentations and lectures on specialty topics

  • Source photographers and coordinate photoshoots for completed projects, as well as manage our project photo database

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong graphic design sensibilities and skills

  • Highly organized and able to multitask and work independently

  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Suite and Microsoft 365 programs

  • A degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent is preferred

This will be an exciting role for someone who is looking to play an active role in the redefinition of our Brand and Marketing Strategies, and actively contribute to the culture of an emerging firm, engaged in public work. We are open to receiving applications from pro-active candidates, that work well in a team environment, with a wide variety of backgrounds.

Intermediate Architect

We are looking for a passionate individual with a minimum of 5 years of architectural experience in Canada, to enhance our studio. The ideal candidate would bring to the table:

  • Passionate about architecture and design of public buildings/spaces

  • Registered Architect in British Columbia (or ability to become registered)

  • Have a strong design sensibility, as well as the technical abilities to translate design ideas into details

  • The ability to see a project through from design inception to completion of construction

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
